The Shridhan BVFS Series is a Bend Version Magnetic Float Level Switch designed for liquid level detection and switching applications where there is a mounting constraint from the top of the tank or vessel.
The BVFS Series uses a magnetic float operating around a fixed stationary stem. A permanent magnet inside the float actuates a hermetically sealed reed switch positioned inside the stem at a preset level. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float moves and the magnetic field makes or breaks the reed switch contact.
The series features rugged construction and is available for both indoor and outdoor applications, with weather-proof and explosion-proof enclosure options.
The BVFS Series operates using a magnetic reed-switch principle. A float containing a permanent magnet moves along a fixed stationary stem as the liquid level changes.
When the float reaches the preset switching level, the magnetic field from the float actuates the hermetically sealed reed switch located inside the stem. This makes or breaks the electrical contact according to the configured switching arrangement.
